Miffy's Journey

Miffy is a source of joy and inspiration for children all over the world. That is why it is arguably the most beloved bunny in the world. In 1955, miffy leapt from Dick Bruna's creative pen. Since then, it has been impossible to imagine life without Miffy. During a holiday, Dick Bruna tells a story about a white bunny to his son every night before going to bed. This bunny eventually became the inspiration for Miffy. Since he found it more fun to draw a dress than trousers, he turns miffy into a girl. What first started with a bunny with clumsy ears eventually became the iconic figure we know today. Miffy is loved worldwide and appeals to children all over the world with her adventures in more than 30 books.

Miffy's stories, which revolve around themes of friendship, curiosity and discovering the world, are designed to offer children a sense of security and familiarity. Miffy wants to make children worldly and many children therefore recognise themselves in Miffy and her adventures. She is uncomplicated and innocent, is positive and open to new experiences.

While miffy is known in the Netherlands for her typically Dutch name, in other countries she travels the world as 'miffy', a name easily pronounced in any language since 1996. Miffy, a symbol of safety and recognition, opens hearts and doors to new experiences for children.

Rolls by miffy, Our Wrapper Designs

Our miffy wrapper line is made from 100% natural kraft paper and is available in a box of 24 toilet rolls. The switch to kraft paper highlights our commitment to sustainability and innovation. We chose kraft paper because its production requires less energy and water than that of traditional recycled toilet paper. Another important advantage is that kraft paper is natural in colour and does not need to be bleached. A golden roll, in other words! It makes a clear distinction from white toilet paper, which is often bleached. Kraft paper is thus better for nature, and therefore the perfect match for Miffy.
